The Hitman Fight League
Broadcasting Opportunities
Welcome to THE HFL

British Muay Thai icon Liam Harrison is already making plans for when he eventually retires from combat sports. Harrison, 38, has established himself as one of the world’s most exciting strikers throughout the 20 years of competing on the biggest Muay Thai platforms.

However, the ‘Hitman’ knows he can’t fight forever. That’s why the former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title Challenger is making his post-retirement plans. In a recent interview Liam Harrison revealed that creating his own promotion, ‘Hitman Fight League’ will be a way for him to stay in the industry once he’s no longer able to throw hands himself.

So hopefully I can take all this on board and I can give it back to the fighters a little bit and we can make some opportunities for them and we can get some really good fights going on for the crowds as well and we can give a little bit back to the crowds a little bit back to the fighters and it'll give me something to do to stop me from losing my mind when I can't fight anymore, so yeah it'll be everyone's win really.

Harrison Saenchai

Also we are very keen to fully utilise Liam to his full potential in the future, with documentaries following his fight camps, televised seminars, teaching platforms, etc. these are just a few possible ideas.

TV Proposal
01
Hype
In addition to hosting ‘Panel Desk Work’ during the shows, hosting a pre and post-show on the day. Well executed studio coverage is always a good thing for building up the hype, anticipation, and curiosity about a fight card.
02
Show
Hosting a ‘Weigh in Show’ the day before an event. There are often many storylines and angles that emerge during weigh ins. Interview opportunities present themselves which can be released individually (while also be part of the show). Any of the items in number 1 and 2 above could include breakdowns, special guests, games and gambits, betting odds discussions, data and numbers, predictions, and so on.
03
Quick Hit
Presenting ‘quick hit’ shortform content as well as longform content - focusing on highlights and notable performances. Sports fans always want to see the most exciting action and we can create short form content and a regular feature length show to highlight this. Some of this content would include on camera work and others could be done purely through voiceover. These ideas include covering themes such as top performances, top comebacks, top mistakes, and many other options. We could even have a fan’s choice award as part of any top lists we create taken from social media. Or we could include fighters reacting to their own performances – or a guest pundit joining in breaking them down, etc.
04
Commentary
Remote commentary live from studio or commentary recorded in post-production. My understanding is the latter is most useful at this stage. If for example we are looking to shoot a second show on a weekend or perhaps do a ‘prospects’ series, or maybe even do a reality show-doing a cut down version to release to TV is straightforward and commentary can be tightly controlled in post-production.
